Canada, 10 Dollars, issued in 2018. This is the first vertically oriented bank note issued in Canada. Front: Portrait of Viola Desmond(1914-1965) successful black businesswoman who challenged racial segregation at a cinema in Nova Scotia, in 1946. Her case was one of the most publicized incidents of racial discrimination in Canada and helped start the civil rights movement.
