A political propaganda overprint has been created on a genuine Haiti S2R1 note, marking the end of the Duvalier era in Haiti. While these notes have been seen in the Haitian Central Bank, it appears that they are private overprints, also found on other (paper) denominations. An estimated 250 of these 2 Gourdes Tyvek® overprints have been created. Refer to Haiti S2R1 for more information on 2 Gourde Tyvek® notes. Click on images below to view 300 dpi scans.
