Description: The 2 Kina Plastic note was introduced in 1991. The benefits of
having plastic notes have been noticed as new notes are printed less frequently.

Complex clear window with printed logo of the Bank of Papua New Guinea;

Security vignette;

Translucent shadow image of the Bank of Papua New Guinea logo which is
visible when held up to light;

Offset
printing (flat printing) used for multi-coloured background patterns;

Slightly raised printing of "2", Two Kina, National Crest, Legal Tender
Clause and words "Bank of Papua New Guinea" signatures and serial numbers
fluoresce when viewed under UV light.
