Pre-qualifying global tender notice for printing and supply of Nepalese polymer bank notes

Global applications are hereby invited from Security printers for pre-qualifying for printing and supply of polymer banknotes of different denominations as per the requirement of this bank along with the following particulars within the 35 days at office hours after the first publication of this notice. If the said 35th day happens to be a holiday, the day shall be the following office day and the opening date also shall be deemed to be amended accordingly:

 

1. Year of incorporation as a security printer:

(a) Year of incorporation as a security printer,

(b) Experience of printing of banknotes on polymer (in years).

2. Ownership Status,

3. Last 3 years audited balance sheet and profit and loss account showing complete financial position, specifically the following headings clearly denominated in U.S. Dollar Euro:

(a) Total Assets,

(b) Total liquid Assets,

(c) Net Profit,

(d) Annual Turnover,

(e) Total working Capital.

4. Annual production of last three years (in pieces of polymer banknotes).

5. ISO Certificate.

6. Document certifying that the applicant has been printing banknotes on polymer.

7. No. of countries for which polymer banknotes are printed.

8. Membership Certificate of International Security Printers Association, if any.

9. Certificate of winner of banknotes competition, if any.

10. Award of honour, recognition or excellence, if any.

 

Notes :

(a) The application, balance sheet, profit and loss account and all the information and documents should be submitted in English language only.

(b) All the particulars along with the supporting documents should be submitted otherwise the application for pre-qualification shall be liable for rejection.

(c) The application and all other documents related should be well intact and submitted in a closed envelope.

(d) ISO certificate and certifying document as per Section 5 and 6 of this notice must be submitted to enter into the evaluation process of this pre-qualifying list.

 

The applications along with the related documents submitted to this bank for pre-qualification shall be opened on the 36th day at 1:00 p.m. of the first publication of this notice in the presence of the representatives of applicant companies. Non-attendance of any representatives shall not affect the opening. If the opening date happens to be a holiday, the opening date shall be the following office day at the same time.
