The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) said within one day on September 1 it and its and its provincial branches supplied more than 200 billion dong of the new polymer 100,000 dong bank notes for commercial banks and the State Treasury.

HCM branch of the central bank on September 1 allocated over 80 billion dong of new polymer 100,000 dong bank notes for commercial banks and the city State Treasury, also this branch took back more than 40 billion dong of the old 100,000 bank notes, said Tran Ngoc Minh, director of the SBV’s HCM branch.
